Special Fundraising Screenings of the Film Tapped

Blue Planet Network believes it is critical to empower our community to spread the word about the safe drinking water crisis and create change in their communities. Several of our supporters in California have held fund raising showings of the award-winning documentary, Tapped.
Three showings in Mill Valley in March 2010 raised $1,500 for water projects. One showing in Pleasanton at the Amador Valley High School caused more than 100 students to adopt safe drinking water as their cause.
Then, in September in Santa Cruz, California another special screening was held at the historic Del Mar Theater. The pre-film reception featured opening remarks by Santa Cruz Mayor Ryan Coonerty and Pulitzer Prize winning author Martha Mendoza.
